The Sour

In a shaker 2/3 full of ice add:
    1 teaspoon fruit sugar
    1 1/4 oz. (35 ml.) lemon juice
    1 1/4 oz. (35 ml.) Spirit, Liqueur or Fortified Wine
Shake vigorously and strain into a sour glass. Decorate with a cherry skewered with a pick.

The Zoom

Dissolve 1 tablespoon of honey with 2 tablespoons warm water in a cup. In a shaker 2/3 full of ice add:
    1/2 oz. (14 ml.) 15% cream
    the dissolved honey
    1 1/2 oz. (42 ml.) Spirit
        or
    2 oz. (56 ml.) Liqueur
        or
    2 1/2 oz. (70 ml.) Fortified Wine
Shake vigorously and strain into a Champagne glass. No decorations.
