The Eggnog In a shaker 2/3 full of ice add: 1 teaspoon fruit sugar 1 egg 6 oz. (168 ml.) milk 1 drop pure vanilla extract (optional) 1 1/4 oz. (35 ml.) Spirit or 1 3/4 oz. (49 ml.) Liqueur or 2 1/2 oz. (70 ml.) Fortified Wine Shake vigorously and strain into a collins glass. Decorate with a sprinkle of nutmeg.

The Fix Dissolve 1 teaspoon of fruit sugar with 1 teaspoon of water in a highball glass. Fill the glass with shaved ice and add: 3/4 oz. (21 ml.) lemon juice 1/2 oz. (14 ml.) Cherry Brandy 1 1/4 oz. (35 ml.) Spirit or Liqueur Stir gently with a stir stick. Decorate with 1/2 slice of lemon and 2 tall straw.
