  gustative + create + fantasizing = "Gustatizing"

A method of imagining a new (never before tasted) flavor from a combination of referenced (previously tasted) flavors.

For every bartender there comes a time when he or she is inevitably called upon to create a new drink for a customer or a special occasion. New drinks are usually created by trial and error. Like other bartenders, I too went through the trial and error process. The trial and error process is wasteful, time consuming and sometimes not so tasty.

This was very frustrating for me and my customers so, I went back to the books and tried to get some answers. I read many books, most of them good, but none of them could answer my question: "What is the creative process to creating new and delicious cocktails?"

Eventually, I figured out a way to create very good or excellent new drinks almost all of the time. I call it “Gustatizing”. To gustatize, you first must learn the science of creating cocktails.

You'll learn to think in flavors. The "Gustatizing" technique is explained in simple, easy to understand vocabulary. The step by step instructions will put you on track, to creating delicious drinks.

Cheers and good health!
